PD providers can use the Aspire Registry to manage professional development events. Doing so gives you access to helpful resources like ready-to-print certificates and sign-in sheets for the training you provide.
Once your course has been approved, you can schedule your professional development events at any time without having to get the course approved each time.
Events can only be scheduled up to 2 years from the original event date.
Scheduled events can be duplicated, rescheduled, or canceled from the Event dropdown menu.
Duplicating Events
- To duplicate an event, select Duplicate Event from the Event dropdown. When you duplicate an event, the event dates and attendees do not transfer over, so you’ll need to enter that information again.
- If your duplicated event appears Locked, it means you're attempting to schedule an event through an expired Aspire Trainer Profile. To Unlock the event through your trainer profile, you'll need to update and resubmit your profile for review. Otherwise, you can duplicate the event via your Organization Profile.
Rescheduling Events
-
To reschedule an event, select Reschedule Event from the Event dropdown.
When rescheduling an event, the following information CANNOT be changed: assigned trainers, assessments/evaluations, and co-sponsor organizations. However, you CAN edit the following: event contact information, online registration, instructional methods, and PD Finder opt-in.
- When you reschedule an event and already have attendees on your roster, you can transfer them to the new event.
Canceling Events
- To cancel an event, select Cancel Event from the Event dropdown menu. You can add notes, but they are completely optional.
Notify all attendees that your event is canceled BEFORE you cancel the event in Aspire.
Event Registration
- You can edit the Event Registration of scheduled events by clicking on Training Entry and selecting the event. Click the Manage button and select Registration Emails and Text to edit event registration messaging.
Accessing Certificates
- To access Aspire-generated attendance certificates for your attendees, click Training Materials in the Events Details section and select Certificate of Attendance.
