Once your course has been approved, you can schedule your professional development events at any time. If you provide training on the same topics several times a year, you also can schedule multiple training events for that course without having to get the course approved each time.
We recommend that you schedule your approved training at least two weeks in advance.
1. To begin, click Training Entry from the left navigation panel
2. Click New Event
3. Click Select on the course that will be scheduled as an event; you can also use the Filter Course feature to find the right course you're looking for
You can use the Course Tag Type and choose Pre-approved Curriculum to search for your approved to teach course
If you have a pre-approved course that expired, you must renew and resubmit this course for approval prior to scheduling your event
4. Click +Trainer to assign new trainers
Only individuals with active accounts can be assigned to events
5. Use the Filter Trainers feature to find the right trainer
You can also assign non-approved trainers by checking the box at the top of the search bars
6. The Administrative Access box will enable additional trainers to share administrative tasks
Tasks include entering rosters, receiving notifications, and rescheduling permissions
7. While you can only select one Administrative Training Sponsor Organization, you can add multiple Event Co-Sponsors to your event via your Trainer Profile or Organization Profile. Co-sponsors have limited managing access and can modify the event roster and documentation. You can find your co-sponsor organization by clicking Select Training Sponsor and searching from a list of registered organizations.
8. Review and/or update the information in each section
Click Continue to move to a new section
9. After going through each section, click Save & Review
10. Click Submit Event to finish the scheduling process
If new trainers have been assigned to this event, this submission will go through review for approval
