As a Family Child Care Provider, you will need to create an Individual Aspire Profile and an Organization profile. Your Individual Profile will include your personal and professional information (such as your education and professional development trainings). Your Organization Profile will include information specific to your program and licensing.
***Before taking steps to build your profile, you must have an Aspire account. If you do not have an account, click here for steps on how to create one.
Build your Aspire Individual Profile:
- When you get to the Account homepage, check the box next to Start my Aspire Profile and click Continue.
- Enter all relevant information under each tab of your Individual Profile. As you complete the information on each page, be sure to upload supporting documents directly into your profile. Though the Aspire Registry encourages members to upload, we gladly accept photocopies (not originals) by mail. Please click here to understand how to mail your documents.
You will notice that some of your personal information will appear, so you will need to review it to make it is correct.
Here is where you will provide your education history, which may include your HS, official college transcripts, and CPR and First Aid. Click here for instructions on how to upload your education documentation.
Although you are the Family Child Care Provider, it is important to list your current employment here. You are more than welcome to add past employment as the Aspire Registry does recognize your years of experience in the early childhood field. Click here for instructions on how to add your employment history.
The Aspire Registry is a useful tool to keep track of your professional development. Here is where you would enter your trainings certificates. Click here for instructions on how to upload your training certificates.
If you have any professional memberships or contributions, you can list them under this section.
Review and Submit
You will be able to see the information you provided at a glance. Once everything looks correct, BE SURE TO CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON - this will let Aspire staff know that your profile is ready for review.
After your Individual profile has been reviewed, you will receive a welcome letter with your membership card. You can also access your Aspire Certificate and Professional Development Record from your online profile. We encourage you to update your Aspire Profile regularly!
