To submit individual certificates for trainings you have attended, follow the steps below:
1. Log into your Aspire profile, click Manage Memberships, select Start or Update my Aspire Profile, then click Next
2. Click Review for the Training Received section
3. In the Training Received section, click +Add Training
Remember, if you’ve taken multiple trainings, you’ll need to create a separate entry for each training certificate; we cannot accept files with multiple training certificates in one training entry.
4. Enter the required information
If you have taken health and safety training that meets Article 47 of the New York City Health Code (i.e., Pediatric CPR/First Aid, Mandated Reporter, Code Ana Epinephrine, etc.), you can click the check box at the top of the individual training request form. The necessary information will auto-populate; all you need to enter is the Start Date and upload a copy of your certificate.
5. Click I will upload a file for verification, and the +File button to upload a copy of your training certificate
6. When you’re done, click Submit Request
7. Click Confirm to save your updates to the Training Received section, and continue building your profile.
You must confirm each section of your profile before you can click Review Application and Submit to notify us that your profile is ready for review.
Helpful Hints
- All Aspire Approved Training and some Online Training taken through ECETP eLearning will automatically be added to your Aspire profile when you input your Aspire ID. You do not need to provide certificates for those training events.
- Don’t want to enter your trainings one by one? Please speak with your trainer/director to have them enter any upcoming trainings in The Aspire Registry. Once the training is approved, it will automatically be added to your profile.
- No scanner? No worries! Click here for other ways to save your documents.
- Unsure of the details for the training you’ve attended? That’s okay! Just type ‘N/A’ in the text box to avoid an error message. We will update that information when reviewing your documentation.
