Transcripts and Diplomas

When reviewing your education records, we have specific criteria for documentation verification.  Please refer to the chart below to identify which documents to include in your profile.

Important Things to Note:

  • We accept clear, legible photocopies (not originals) of all documents listed in the "Accepted" column

  • You may open the envelope to upload your transcripts; we still consider them official

  • If you changed your name, you must add any previous first and/or last names to the Personal Information section; documents with name(s) differing from what's listed on your Aspire profile or vice versa will not be accepted

  • We only accept emailed copies of official transcripts if they come directly from your college/university - if you wish you have your official transcripts emailed, click here for more information

HIGH SCHOOL

VERIFICATION CRITERIA

  • Legal first and last name

     

  • Graduation date

     

  • Signature from Academic Administrator and/or superintendent of schools
  • High School Diploma

     

  • High School Transcripts

     

  • GED

     

  • For International Diplomas/Transcripts: Evaluation from a NACES, AICE, or DCAS organization
  • Diplomas/Transcripts/GED without a graduation year

     

  • Diplomas/Transcripts/GED without a signature

     

  • International Diplomas/Transcripts/GED without evaluation from a NACES, AICE, or DCAS organization

 

HIGHER EDUCATION

VERIFICATION CRITERIA

ACCEPTED

NOT ACCEPTED

  • Legal first and last name

     

  • Registrar’s signature

     

  • Conferred date

     

  • Embossed/Raised college seal

     

  • Diploma with major listed
  • CHEA-accredited college or university official transcript with registrar signature

     

  • Diploma with major listed

     

  • International colleges/universities transcript evaluation from NACES, AICE, or DCAS organizations
  • Student copies or unofficial transcripts

     

  • Letter from registrar

     

  • Official transcripts from unaccredited colleges/universities

     

  • Diplomas without major listed

     

  • Grade/Progress reports

     

  • Transcript request forms

     

  • Course schedules

     

  • Unevaluated international transcripts/diplomas (even if translated or in English)


To complete your profile, we need documents to verify the information you have entered online. We encourage you to upload these documents directly to your profile, but you may also mail us photocopies of these items.
