In order to submit your Standards Inventory for rating, you and your teaching staff will need to provide up-to-date documentation for trainings, qualifications, and experience information within the Aspire Registry. Once those entries undergo Aspire’s verification process, components of that data will feed into QUALITYstarsNY’s system and contribute to your program’s overall rating.
- What is an Aspire Profile?
Keeping track of participation in professional development, your work experience, and other milestones in your career is an important professional responsibility. Your Aspire profile is an online portfolio that stores verified information about your education, professional development and experience in the field. Aspire profiles are for all individuals working in early childhood, regardless of your role. Whether you are a director, a teacher’s aide, a trainer or a family child care provider, a profile in the Aspire Registry is a valuable tool for you as a professional.
- Does my Aspire Profile expire?
The Aspire Registry doesn't require you to renew your membership; however, it is important to update your profile regularly or at least every two years to avoid expiration. We'll send you a few email reminders to keep your profile up-to-date.
Luckily, maintaining a current profile is easy! You can add new training or education information as soon as you complete them. Just log in, click Manage Profiles (or Continue Application), check Update my Aspire Profile, and click Next. You can upload your documents right to your profile by reviewing each section.
Remember to confirm each section, click Review Application, and Submit to notify our team that your new information or documents are ready for review.
For more information on how to update your profile, see our article on uploading documents to your Aspire profile.
- I’m not sure if I have an Aspire account or not. How do I check?
Go to the account set up page and enter your information. If you have an account, the system will let you know! Then you can log in or reset your password as needed.
If you don’t remember or don’t have access to the email that you used to set up your account, contact us at info@nyworksforchildren.org.
