Why does my Aspire Profile look so different?
The Aspire Registry's Individual Profile is now sporting its latest update! With a sleeker design and straightforward steps, this new version of Aspire will significantly help streamline the profile-building process for our members.

Will my profile disappear with this new version of the Aspire Registry?
Your current Aspire profile will seamlessly transition into the new version of the website, and all your previous information will be saved.

Will I need to update my email and password to access this new version of Aspire?
The current email and password attached to your Aspire Individual Profile should still work. If you experience any difficulties, please contact us at info@nyworksforchildren.org.
Why do some parts of the website look different, and others look the same as before?
The latest version of the Aspire Registry currently applies only to the Individual Profile. However, other aspects of the system (e.g. Organization Profiles, Trainer Profiles, etc.) will undergo their own updates in the future.

What is the My Aspire Profile app?
We heard your requests, and we’ve cooked up a brand-new app! My Aspire Profile allows you to access your Aspire profile on the go. You can log in and update your information, and with the ability to use your device's camera, uploading documents just got a whole lot easier.

What is the difference between the Aspire New York app and the My Aspire Profile app?
The My Aspire Profile app can be used to log in, create, and update your Aspire Individual Profile. It's free for anyone to use.
The Aspire New York app allows training providers to take attendance with their mobile devices by scanning attendee Aspire Membership Cards or inputting attendee Aspire ID numbers during their Aspire-registered professional development events. This app is recommended for training providers only.
TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
How do I create a new profile or update my current one?
To create or update your Aspire Profile, you'll need to click Manage Memberships, select Start/Update my Aspire Profile and click Next.
Can I leave my profile application and come back later? Will my progress be saved?
If you need to pause and come back to your application later, you can click Continue Application on your homepage to pick up where you left off. All your information, uploaded documentation, and previously confirmed sections will be saved.
Do I still have to check off Update/Start my Aspire profile to apply to be a trainer or coach?
You will have to check off that box, but even better, the system will auto-check that first box for you if any other box is selected before proceeding.
I want to register as a trainer or coach, but I have already started my application, and the option isn’t there anymore. How can I register?
If you already started your application but forgot to register as a trainer or coach, you must click Cancel Application. Then, on the homepage, click Manage Memberships, select whether you’d like to register as a trainer and/or coach, and click Next. The information and documents you previously entered will still be there; however, you’ll have to confirm each section again before submitting your profile for review.
How do I edit my personal information?
You can update your personal information at any time by clicking the Edit Personal Information button at the top of your Aspire Profile homepage.
The Training Hours section doesn’t display my current total training hours – why?
The Training Hours section currently displays the total verified training hours you’ve taken within the past two years. This number is based on the training you submitted to your profile that has met our verification requirements.

This section currently does not display information, but we are working diligently with our developers to make it happen.
