The application process takes an average of thirty minutes to complete. You may log out and log back in to finish your application in more than one session.
Create an Aspire Profile
- Go to www.nyworksforchildren.org and click Join or Log into Aspire.
- Select Create Account and enter all relevant information. Please note that you will need to verify your email address, so be sure to use an email you can access.
- Provide the necessary personal information. When you get to the Homepage, click Manage Memberships, select Start my Aspire Profile, then click Next.
- Select the Review button next to each section to enter all relevant information and upload your documents.
Please note that you will only be able to move on to the Review Application and Submit page once you have reviewed and confirmed each section.
Upload your documents
- As you complete the information in each section, upload supporting documents directly into your profile. Most of the documents the Aspire Registry needs for verification should be easily accessible in your employee file. Learn more about the uploading process here.
- Though the Aspire Registry encourages members to upload, we gladly accept photocopies (not originals) by mail. Please click here to understand how to mail your documents.
After entering all your information, please be sure to click Review Application and click Submit to move your application into our processing queue.
That’s all it takes!
After we process your application, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to access your membership card. You can access your Aspire Certificate and Professional Development Record under My Aspire Resources in your profile. We encourage you to update your Aspire Profile regularly!
Helpful Hint: If you can't complete all the sections in one sitting, your work will be saved. Just keep in mind that if you leave your profile before submitting, when you log back in you will see a Continue Application button instead of Manage Memberships.
